has been cooling off the neighborhood since the 1920's.

O'Connor Pool is open for the 2010 Season

Thanks to citywide fundraiser efforts, almost all public pools are open this summer including our neighborhood's O'Connor Pool. The Friends of Schuylkill River Park continues to work on improvements to the pool. Over the July 4, 2010 weekend volunteers from the Friends replaced the wood on all pool benches. This fall we have a volunteer crew that will work on paining the iron work and the bathrooms. Come escape the heat this summer at the pool and relax on the newly refurbished benches.
